It was a very nice sunny +5 to +6C day at the WOP. And I spent most of it outdoors waiting to find athletes, and yes Deen I had sun screen on. Long day with lots of standing around watching - we did eventually find some athletes but some of them are being inventive in trying to avoid us . Don't understand why as we are all a nice group of people. Maybe it's the inconvenience factor???? But we will find them sooner or later- kind of like the Mounties - we always get our man ( or woman as the case may be).
Not much new to say or comment upon today but a couple of interesting pictures. This first one is a $500000 snow machine with cameras for TV out on the cross country trails during the races. The next one is track groomer...
Today was the rehearsal for the flower ceremonies,which take place for the meallists right after the race. The medal presentations will take place in the evening following the event in Whistler Village itself. I didn't 't see the rehearsal but could certainly hear it.
